Wouldn't you love to know

There are times when we question the intentions of people. The motives that once sat firmly on the insignificantly disregarded earth where of all choices, you chose to open up your heart. What's scarier is placing questionable protest on the people you once thought you could trust. I think sometimes people forget that we're all moulded out of the same clay. It's true no two are certainly the same. But pretense can be such an indulging addiction.

The thing about love, trust, pretense and doubt is that, you'll never truly know which cards your opponents are playing.  It's a game of skill. In a blink of an eye, you may find yourself caught up among high rollers who only understand this game of facade oh too well. Still, you eradicate dubious perception with the slightest pinch of hope believing that one strike of good luck may help you triumph. It is not entirely imperative to comprehend this game, it is only justifiable that you watch your own back. And by this I mean accepting reason, learning to harmonize yourself with the transposing music.

Goodnight.

Love,
D
